The Mobilise-D technical validation training in Newcastle is happening this week (February 24-26th), and Mobilisers from Newcastle and Northumbria University are focused and ready to learn. With assistance from the Universities of Sassari and Sheffield, the Mobilise-D assessors will get a firm grasp on how to properly set up the necessary equipment and how to perform the WP2 technical validation protocol. This will involve both in-lab assessments, as well as measurements of free-living gait out in the real world. In this 3-day training session attendees will practice using the Vicon and INDIP systems, as well as McRoberts sensors, which will all be used in the technical validation itself.
