The highly successful Mobilise-D Conference in Edinburgh, March 20 2024, marked a fundamental leap forward in the journey towards implementing digital mobility assessment in clinical trials and practice for the benefit of patients, trialists, and health care systems. Hosted at the esteemed Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the conference brought together a wide variety of academic and clinical experts, pharma and MedTech industry leaders, and patients and patient representatives to celebrate achievements, share insights, and join forces to bring digital mobility assessment one step closer to daily life practice.
From insightful keynote addresses to thought-provoking panel discussions and interactive sessions, the conference was a demonstration of the collaborative and multidisciplinary team spirit that characterizes the over 300 people that work in the Mobilise-D consortium. The overall goal of the consortium is to develop valid, reliable, and meaningful digital measures to capture real-world mobility continuously as people go about their day-to-day activities.
Conference attendees had the opportunity to delve into the consortium’s advancements in real-world mobility assessment, and discuss ongoing and future work with researchers, developers, and clinicians, as well as with several patients and patient representatives that are part of the Mobilise-D Patient and Public Advisory Group, thereby gaining invaluable knowledge and forging connections with peers from around the world.
